What mold removal costs in Harrisburg, and why

No honest price for mold work comes over the phone. These are the things that move it, so the number makes sense when you see it.

How much is affected

A few square feet on a bathroom ceiling and a basement wall that stayed wet for a season are different jobs. The area sets how much comes out and how long it takes.

The free inspection measures it, so the price is based on what is really there.

What it's growing on

Mold on tile, glass or sealed concrete can usually be cleaned in place. Mold in drywall, insulation, carpet or ceiling tile usually means that material is removed and bagged.

In older houses, plaster and lath take longer to open and contain than drywall, and that shows in the time a job takes.

How easy it is to reach

An open basement wall is quicker than a crawlspace you enter on your knees, or a ceiling above built-in cabinets. Access changes the setup and the labor.

Fixing the cause

The pipe, roof, grading or vent that let the water in has to be fixed by the right trade. That repair is separate from the mold work, and we'll say who to call.

The inspection is free, and the price is agreed in writing before any work starts.
